Ways to connect

A company admin connects Pipedrive from the Integrations page in Everdeck. Keys, tokens and secrets are encrypted before they're stored, and the connection's Test button checks it works before any agent uses it.

  • Personal API token API key

Copy a key or token from Pipedrive and paste it into Everdeck.

  • Your Pipedrive app (OAuth) Your OAuth app

Create an OAuth app of your own with Pipedrive, paste its client ID and secret into Everdeck, then sign in to Pipedrive and approve access. Access runs through your own app, never one Everdeck shares with other customers.

What agents can do with Pipedrive

An agent can only use the actions its charter grants. Each action has a risk tier, and the tier decides whether it runs on its own, asks first or always asks a person.

Runs on its own 12

Looking things up, writing to Everdeck's own records and changes one step can undo. Once an agent's charter grants one of these, it runs without asking, unless you set it to Ask first in the charter or one of your approval rules covers it.

  • Search deals, people and organizations Tier 0 · Read Outside content

Find deals, persons, organizations, leads or products by name, email, phone or other text. Returns each match's type, id, title and key fields. At least 2 characters (1 with exact_match).

  • Read a deal, person, organization or activity Tier 0 · Read Outside content

Read one record by id with all its fields, including custom_fields (keyed by field hash).

  • List deals Tier 0 · Read Outside content

List deals filtered by owner, person, organization, pipeline, stage or status, for example all open deals in a stage or deals updated since yesterday.

  • List activities Tier 0 · Read Outside content

List calls, meetings, tasks and other activities, for example the open activities on a deal or a user's overdue to-dos (done=false, sort_by due_date).

  • List pipeline stages Tier 0 · Read Outside content

List pipeline stages with their ids, names, order and pipeline id. Use a stage id to create or move a deal (the deal's pipeline follows its stage).

  • Create a deal Tier 2 · Reversible Outside content

Create a deal, linked to a person and/or organization, in a given stage.

  • Update a deal Tier 2 · Reversible Outside content

Change a deal: move it to another stage (stage_id), mark it won or lost (status, with lost_reason), change value, owner or expected close date. Send only fields to change.

  • Create a person Tier 2 · Reversible Outside content

Add a contact person, optionally linked to an organization.

  • Update a person Tier 2 · Reversible Outside content

Change a person's name, emails, phones, organization, owner or custom fields. Emails and phones replace the existing lists.

  • Create an organization Tier 2 · Reversible Outside content

    Add a company (organization) record.

  • Schedule an activity Tier 2 · Reversible Outside content

Create a call, meeting, task, email or deadline activity, optionally linked to a deal, person and organization. Set done true to log something that already happened.

  • Add a note Tier 2 · Reversible

Add a note to a deal, person, organization or lead (at least one id). Notes are internal to the Pipedrive team. Content is HTML.

Actions marked Outside content return what people outside your company may have written, such as emails or comments. Agents treat it as information to check, never as instructions.

What can start work

Nothing in Pipedrive starts agent work by itself. Agents use it while they work on tasks from the board, from other agents or from the sources on the Intake page.

Work an agent can take on

Examples for apps in CRM & sales. What an agent does with Pipedrive depends on the actions you grant it.

  • Log notes and next steps on a deal or contact after a call.
  • Create or update contacts from new enquiries.
  • List deals with no activity this week for your sales lead.
