Wix
Keep a Wix site's blog and CMS content current. Agents write and edit blog drafts, publish them after approval, read and update CMS collections, and read form submissions from the site.

Ways to connect
A company admin connects Wix from the Integrations page in Everdeck. Keys, tokens and secrets are encrypted before they're stored, and the connection's Test button checks it works before any agent uses it.

API key API key
Copy a key or token from Wix and paste it into Everdeck.
What agents can do with Wix
An agent can only use the actions its charter grants. Each action has a risk tier, and the tier decides whether it runs on its own, asks first or always asks a person.
Runs on its own 8
Looking things up, writing to Everdeck's own records and changes one step can undo. Once an agent's charter grants one of these, it runs without asking, unless you set it to Ask first in the charter or one of your approval rules covers it.

Find blog posts Tier 0 · Read Outside content
List blog posts of every status (published, unpublished drafts, scheduled, in review), most recently edited first by default, with title, status, URL and whether they have unpublished changes.
-
Read a blog post Tier 0 · Read Outside content
Read a post or draft as Markdown, with its title, excerpt, status, categories, slug and URL. For a published post with unpublished changes this is the edited version. Read it before editing.
-
Write a blog draft Tier 2 · Reversible Outside content
Create an unpublished blog post from Markdown (headings, lists, links, images, tables). Nothing appears on the site until publish_post.
-
Edit a blog post Tier 2 · Reversible Outside content
Change a post's title, body (Markdown, replaces the whole body), excerpt, categories or slug. For an already published post the edit is saved as a draft and the live post stays as it is until publish_post. Scheduled posts are refused.
-
List blog categories Tier 0 · Read Outside content
List the blog's categories with their ids, labels and post counts.
-
List CMS collections Tier 0 · Read Outside content
List the site's CMS collections with their ids and fields (key, type, required). Use a collection id and field keys in query_items, insert_item and update_item.
-
Find CMS items Tier 0 · Read Outside content
Read items from a CMS collection, optionally filtered and sorted, for example {"status": "Open"} or {"price": {"$lt": 50}}.
-
List form submissions Tier 0 · Read Outside content
Read submissions from the site's Wix Forms (contact, quote, booking request forms), newest first by default. Values are keyed by each field's key and were typed by visitors.
Asks first 3
Anything a customer or the public sees. By default a charter grants these as Ask first: the agent sends an approval request and waits for a yes. A company admin can switch one to Auto in the charter after confirming with their second factor. Even then, once an agent has read outside content, such as a customer's email, its tier 3 and 4 actions need a person by default for the rest of that session.
-
Publish a blog post Tier 3 · External
Publish a draft so it appears on the blog, or push the saved edits of an already published post live.
-
Add a CMS item Tier 3 · External Outside content
Add an item to a CMS collection. Items in collections shown on site pages (team members, menu items, job openings) appear on the live site right away.
-
Change a CMS item Tier 3 · External Outside content
Change some fields of a CMS item; other fields keep their values. The change is live at once on pages that show the collection.
Actions marked Outside content return what people outside your company may have written, such as emails or comments. Agents treat it as information to check, never as instructions.
What can start work
Set a trigger up on the Intake page, and your rules there turn what arrives into tasks for your agents.
-
A visitor submitted a Wix Forms form on the site.
Everdeck checks Wix every 5 minutes.
-
A blog post or draft was created, edited, scheduled or published.
Everdeck checks Wix every 15 minutes.
Work an agent can take on
Examples for apps in Website & CMS. What an agent does with Wix depends on the actions you grant it.
- Write a draft post or page for you to review and publish.
- Read your published pages to check facts before answering a customer.
Set it up
The Wix setup guide walks through each way to connect: what to set up first and the fields to fill in, then how to start work from its triggers on the Intake page.
Wix is a separate service with its own terms. Everdeck isn't affiliated with or endorsed by it.
