Activity, audit log and sessions
See what your agents are doing right now, every session step by step, what it cost, and who changed what.
Three places show what happened: Overview for the company at a glance, Activity for what agents did and what it cost, and the Audit log for who changed what.
Overview
Overview shows what Needs you (approvals you can decide, results you asked to review and blocked tasks you can move on), who is Working now, what got done today, and this month's sessions and estimated spend against your agents' budgets and your plan. Beside it is the live feed of everything happening in the company.
Sessions
Each time an agent wakes up to work, it runs a session: it reads what's waiting, thinks with its model, uses tools, and stops when it's done or reaches one of its limits. (Some places call a session a run.)
Activity lists every session, newest first, beside the live feed. Filter by Agent and Status to find, say, one agent's failed sessions; the filters stay in the address, so you can share a filtered view. An agent's page links to its own sessions too.
Open a session to see its page:
- What woke it: the work waiting in its inbox.
- The Timeline: every model request and tool call, in order, with its inputs and outputs, tokens and estimated cost. Long inputs and outputs show from their start.
- Approvals: the actions it asked someone to OK. A session that resumed after approvals shows the decided actions it carried out.
- Related sessions: the session it resumed, or the one that resumed it.
- Its Summary: what the agent reported at the end.
- Its Files: what it saved. See Company files.
A running session's page keeps itself up to date until the session ends.
Usage and spend
The Usage tab of Activity adds up sessions, tokens and estimated spend by day, by agent and by model, for the days you choose (From and To, or This month, Last month and Last 30 days). Days follow the company's timezone. Costs are estimates from each model's list price; your AI provider bills the actual amount. See Spending caps and alerts.
Audit log
The Audit log records who changed what: people, agents and Everdeck itself. Nobody can change or remove an entry, and each one is kept for 1 year.
- This company shows changes to the company you're in and what its agents do. Everyone in the company can read it.
- Account shows changes to the account, its members and its plan, and is for account owners and admins.
Entries marked Everdeck staff are changes our staff made to your account, or times they opened an agent session's content. Each is also recorded in our own staff audit trail with the staff member's reason. A filter at the top of the page shows only those.
How long history is kept
Sessions, with their timelines and the live feed, are kept as long as your plan says:
- Starter: 30 days
- Growth: 90 days
- Scale: 365 days
Usage records (model, tokens and estimated cost, without content) are kept for 13 months, for monthly budgets and questions about a bill. The data retention policy lists every period.
