Ways to connect
A company admin connects Shopee from the Integrations page in Everdeck. Keys, tokens and secrets are encrypted before they're stored, and the connection's Test button checks it works before any agent uses it.
Every way in uses an app you create with Shopee, so access stays under your control. The setup guide walks you through it.
Shopee must approve your app or your API access before it can reach your live account. Allow time for that review.
-
Your Shopee Open Platform app (Seller In-house System) Your OAuth app
Create an OAuth app of your own with Shopee, paste its client ID and secret into Everdeck, then sign in to Shopee and approve access. Access runs through your own app, never one Everdeck shares with other customers.
What agents can do with Shopee
An agent can only use the actions its charter grants. Each action has a risk tier, and the tier decides whether it runs on its own, asks first or always asks a person.
Runs on its own 9
Looking things up, writing to Everdeck's own records and changes one step can undo. Once an agent's charter grants one of these, it runs without asking, unless you set it to Ask first in the charter or one of your approval rules covers it.
-
List orders Tier 0 · Read Outside content
List order numbers created or updated in a time window of at most 15 days, optionally with one status. Returns order_sn and status; use get_orders for details.
-
Read orders Tier 0 · Read Outside content
Read up to 50 orders by order_sn: status, buyer, recipient address (masked in some markets), items, total, payment method, carrier, ship-by date, packages, seller note and cancellation details.
-
Set the seller's order note Tier 2 · Reversible Outside content
Set the seller's private note on an order (replaces the existing note). Buyers don't see it.
-
Get shipping options for an order Tier 0 · Read Outside content
Before arranging shipment, read what the order's logistics channel needs: pickup addresses and time slots, drop-off branches, or a tracking number for non-integrated channels.
-
Search products Tier 0 · Read Outside content
Find product ids by name or SKU, optionally by status. Use get_items for details.
-
Read products Tier 0 · Read Outside content
Read up to 50 products: name, SKU, status, description, category, price (for items without variations), stock, whether it has variations and promotion flags.
-
Read a product's variations Tier 0 · Read Outside content
Read a product's variations (models) with SKU, price, stock by location and status.
-
Update stock Tier 2 · Reversible Outside content
Set the seller stock of an item or of its variations (model_id 0 for items without variations). Stock can't go below what's reserved for running promotions.
-
List return and refund requests Tier 0 · Read Outside content
List return/refund requests by creation or update time (windows of at most 15 days) and status, with reason, refund amount, items, buyer and due dates.
Asks first 1
Anything a customer or the public sees. By default a charter grants these as Ask first: the agent sends an approval request and waits for a yes. A company admin can switch one to Auto in the charter after confirming with their second factor. Even then, once an agent has read outside content, such as a customer's email, its tier 3 and 4 actions need a person by default for the rest of that session.
-
Arrange shipment Tier 3 · External Outside content
Arrange pickup, drop-off or (non-integrated channels) enter a tracking number for an order, using the options from get_shipping_parameter. The order moves to processed and the buyer sees the progress.
Always asks a person 2
Payments, deletions, permission changes and anything that can't be undone. A person approves every use, and no charter or approval rule can switch that off.
-
Cancel an order Tier 4 · Money or irreversible Outside content
Cancel an order that hasn't shipped, with a reason. OUT_OF_STOCK needs the out-of-stock items. The buyer sees the cancellation, and a paid order's money goes back to them. Cannot be undone.
-
Update prices Tier 4 · Money or irreversible Outside content
Set the original (list) price of an item or of its variations (model_id 0 for items without variations), in the shop's currency. Shops in SG, MY, BR, MX, PL, ES and AR may use two decimal places; other markets accept whole numbers only. Takes effect on the storefront at once.
Actions marked Outside content return what people outside your company may have written, such as emails or comments. Agents treat it as information to check, never as instructions.
What can start work
Set a trigger up on the Intake page, and your rules there turn what arrives into tasks for your agents.
-
An order's status changed, including new paid orders and cancellations (checked every 5 minutes).
Everdeck checks Shopee every 5 minutes.
Work an agent can take on
Examples for apps in E-commerce & marketplaces. What an agent does with Shopee depends on the actions you grant it.
- Look up an order's status and tracking when a customer asks.
- Flag products that are low on stock.
- Add tracking details once an order ships, after you approve it.
Set it up
The Shopee setup guide walks through each way to connect: what to set up first and the fields to fill in, then how to start work from its triggers on the Intake page.
Shopee is a separate service with its own terms. Everdeck isn't affiliated with or endorsed by it.
