WooCommerce
WordPress online store. Agents search and read orders and their notes, add private notes or notes the customer receives, change order status, issue refunds, look up products and variations, update prices and stock, and create coupons.

Ways to connect
A company admin connects WooCommerce from the Integrations page in Everdeck. Keys, tokens and secrets are encrypted before they're stored, and the connection's Test button checks it works before any agent uses it.
-
REST API key (consumer key and secret) API key
Copy a key or token from WooCommerce and paste it into Everdeck.
What agents can do with WooCommerce
An agent can only use the actions its charter grants. Each action has a risk tier, and the tier decides whether it runs on its own, asks first or always asks a person.
Runs on its own 6
Looking things up, writing to Everdeck's own records and changes one step can undo. Once an agent's charter grants one of these, it runs without asking, unless you set it to Ask first in the charter or one of your approval rules covers it.
-
Search orders Tier 0 · Read Outside content
Find orders by free text (for example a customer's email or surname), status, customer or date, newest first. Returns id, number, status, dates, total, currency, billing name and email, payment method and item names.
-
Read an order Tier 0 · Read Outside content
Read one order: status, totals, billing and shipping addresses, the customer's checkout note, line items (with ids for refunds), shipping lines, coupons used and refunds so far.
-
Read an order's notes Tier 0 · Read Outside content
List an order's notes: status changes, payment and shipping notes added by plugins (often tracking numbers), staff notes and notes sent to the customer.
-
Add a private order note Tier 2 · Reversible Outside content
Add a note on an order for staff only. The customer is not notified.
-
Search products Tier 0 · Read Outside content
Find products by text, SKU, status or stock status. Returns id, name, type, status, SKU, prices, stock, permalink and, for variable products, variation ids.
-
List a product's variations Tier 0 · Read Outside content
List the variations of a variable product with SKU, prices, stock and attributes (for example Size M, Colour Blue).
Asks first 2
Anything a customer or the public sees. By default a charter grants these as Ask first: the agent sends an approval request and waits for a yes. A company admin can switch one to Auto in the charter after confirming with their second factor. Even then, once an agent has read outside content, such as a customer's email, its tier 3 and 4 actions need a person by default for the rest of that session.
-
Send the customer an order note Tier 3 · External Outside content
Add a note to an order that the customer sees in their account and receives by email (WooCommerce's Customer note email).
-
Change an order's status Tier 3 · External
Set an order to pending, processing, on-hold, completed or cancelled. Depending on the store's email settings the customer is emailed (for example Processing order and Completed order emails). Cancelling restores stock but refunds nothing; use refund_order for money.
Always asks a person 4
Payments, deletions, permission changes and anything that can't be undone. A person approves every use, and no charter or approval rule can switch that off.
-
Refund an order Tier 4 · Money or irreversible Outside content
Refund an amount on an order, optionally for specific line items. With api_refund true (default) the payment gateway sends the money back when it supports automatic refunds; false only records a manual refund. Refunded line items are restocked by default.
-
Update a product's prices, stock or copy Tier 4 · Money or irreversible Outside content
Change a simple product's regular or sale price, stock, name, descriptions or status. Only the fields you pass change; the storefront updates at once. For variable products change prices and stock with update_variation.
-
Update a variation's prices or stock Tier 4 · Money or irreversible
Change one variation's regular or sale price, stock or status. Only the fields you pass change.
-
Create a coupon Tier 4 · Money or irreversible Outside content
Create a coupon code, for example a goodwill discount for one customer: percentage or fixed amount, usage limits, expiry date, minimum spend and email restrictions.
Actions marked Outside content return what people outside your company may have written, such as emails or comments. Agents treat it as information to check, never as instructions.
What can start work
Nothing in WooCommerce starts agent work by itself. Agents use it while they work on tasks from the board, from other agents or from the sources on the Intake page.
Work an agent can take on
Examples for apps in E-commerce & marketplaces. What an agent does with WooCommerce depends on the actions you grant it.
- Look up an order's status and tracking when a customer asks.
- Flag products that are low on stock.
- Add tracking details once an order ships, after you approve it.
Set it up
The WooCommerce setup guide walks through each way to connect: what to set up first and the fields to fill in.
